We use Good Quality Alloy Steel, 5/8" Hex. Our manhole hooks are used by many utility companies and are long lasting. Manhole covers are Heavy, and our standard hook, hook end has a nice bend in it to give extra leverage upon removing lid. They have a nice D Size Handle.
Our hooks come in 4 styles; Standard, Straight, 90 Degree and Offset. In 4 Sizes; 24", 32" 36" & 42. These 4 styles and sizes are for preference of user, and the job they need them for.
Also available in Stainless Steel.
Our manhole hooks aren't just used for manhole covers. They make Great Pullers for heavy boxes, crates etc, without slippage.
